Soldiers in the Army of God

NEW DOCS

Take a look inside the fringe of the anti-abortion movement. Following nineteen-year-old Jonathan over the course of a year as he searches for a way to end legalized abortion, the film reveals a network of anti-abortion activists who express the conviction that it is God’s will to blow up clinics and shoot doctors who work in them. In his intense commitment to the anti-abortion movement Jonathan seeks out these men as his mentors. A disturbing yet very straightforward film, Soldiers in the Army of God shows how radical anti-abortionists think and what they plan to do—but it does not persuade the viewer to think either way. A very well-made documentary that will inform and alert audiences, the film includes footage of violence as well as interviews with the man convicted of the murders at the clinic in Pensacola, Florida
