Congratulations School of Doc on winning two awards!
“We are very intentional about selecting students who are in the Durham Public Schools system to come to our camp for free. We teach students camera, lighting, editing, pre-planning, and shooting interviews so that they can go out and find the stories that they want to tell.” – Eric Barstow, School of Doc instructor
Join us in congratulating our 2019 School of Doc summer and fall students on winning two awards at the 2020 Longleaf Film Festival in Raleigh, North Carolina. Our summer students won the Student Film – Best Documentary Award for WHO I AM: RADHA VARADAN and our fall students won the Best Student Film Award for LIBERTAD.
This is a big accomplishment for our students and we couldn’t be more proud of their creativity and hard work. If you haven’t seen the films, you can watch LIBERTAD and WHO I AM: RADHA VARADAN on Vimeo below.
